Ullerup first appeared in Battlestar Galactica remake, the Sci Fi Channel's 2006 television show. She played Julia Brynn. She performed the role of Ashley Magnus in the first and second seasons of the television show Sanctuary until her character was written out. It was her exit that caused heated debate among the fans. A lot of people wanted the character back for a future episodes, but the show was terminated in 2012. In the year 2016, Ullerup was cast as Bree O'Brien in Chesapeake Shores. Ullerup was Maggie Thomas, the estranged spouse of Michael Thomas, in the disaster movie Asteroid: Final Impact (2015). Ullerup regularly appears as Dale Travers, in the Hallmark Signed, Sealed, Delivered film series since 2016.

Rena Sherel Sofer is an American actressand model, well-known for her roles on daytime TV, guest appearances and made-for-television films. Sofer won the Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for her character Lois Cerullo on the soap opera General Hospital.
