Suzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, died on January 19th 2008. She was an American actress, voice film, and TV actress. Pleshette began her stage career and made appearances in films in the late 1950s. Later, Pleshette was a prominent actor in films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (12001). From 1972 to 1978 she was a frequent actor in various TV productions. In addition she was awarded numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York on the 31st of January, 1937. The parents of her were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was an artist, dancer and choreographer, who appeared on stage under the name Geraldine Rivers.
