Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy is a Canadian singer and actress. She is most known for her roles in the American television show Law & Order, on which she played prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three seasons, and Crossing Jordan, on which she was the main character, Jordan Cavanaugh, for six seasons. She also appeared in films like RoboCop 3 (most wanted) and Crossing Jordan (which she directed and wrote). Hennessy was born in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy her father was a marketing executive and salesman. He was a frequent traveler that led to numerous family relocations. Maxine, Maxine's mother, died in the year 1982. Her daughter was left under the care of Eleanor her paternal grandmother. She has a younger brother named John Paul "J.P." Hennessy, Jr., and an identical twin sister named Jacqueline She is a magazine writer and TV host in Canada. Hennessy's ancestral ancestry includes Irish, French, Swedish, and Italian heritage from her father's side and mostly Ukrainian Roma on her mother's. She graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute and Stanley Park Senior Public School. Hennessy was the younger sister of her brother, who made their acting debut in 1988 when they were twin call-girls in Dead Ringers. She was short listed for the role of Dana Scully on The X-Files according to Gillian Anderson, the actress who eventually got the role.She made an appearance in Broadway in the musical Buddy the Musical - The Buddy Holly Story in 1990.In 1993, she was on the show in the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3.In 1993, Dick Wolf signed Hennessy as an assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid in the NBC crime drama Law & Order. The role was played by her for three seasons, and was fired in the year 1996.
